Low Porosity Series

This series of spinel bricks provides good performance in the upper transition and lower transition zones of rotary kilns under high alkali process conditions. They contain high-purity DBM, with reduced apparent porosity to increase infiltration resistance. They are especially preferred for reducing arch formation and withstanding the most challenging operating conditions during RDF combustion. These bricks can be produced with a normal level of flexibility and have high thermal shock resistance.
