Welding Flux

Magnesium Oxide (MgO) helps in the formation of a protective slag layer during welding. The formed slag protects the molten weld pool from atmospheric contamination, prevents oxidation, and enhances the quality of the weld. By taking on the role of deoxidization in the welding flux, it helps remove impurities such as oxygen and other oxides from the welding zone, providing better metallurgical properties.
