Regarding carbon emissions management at KÜMAŞ;
- A comprehensive sustainability strategy that includes carbon pricing mechanisms, European Union border carbon regulation, and other sustainability-related competitive factors in the sector is followed to be prepared for these challenges and to explore opportunities to reduce the footprint of products and production.
- Strategic plans are in place to turn potential commercial risks into opportunities in accordance with the EU Green Deal and other national/international regulatory requirements.

- Expenditures and investments are made to develop decarbonization efforts in line with the demand for low-carbon energy.

In the framework of effective management of natural capital (raw material reserves) and resources at KÜMAŞ;
- To reduce the dependence of economic growth on resource use; drilling and modeling activities are carried out within strategic plans, and rehabilitation activities are conducted to minimize land degradation.
- Efforts are made to reduce resource use intensity and support the circular economy with innovative products and production technologies.
